GET, YOUR, SWEAT, ON! For today’s HUMP DAY HEALTH TIP, 10 reasons why sweating ROCKS! This one's dedicated to all the Bikram Yogi's out there:) Sweating strengthens your immune system, when you start dripping, your white blood cell count starts rising! Sweating is very CLEANSING for your body: toxins are released via our skin! Sweating improves circulation Sweating (regularly!) helps your body become more efficient at regulating your body temperature, this makes Bikram yoga in summer, a serious BONUS:) Sweating increases your metabolism Sweating rids the body of excess water / water retention, so, it’s GREAT for weight-loss! Sweating “it” out, reduces stress:) Sweating is seriously the BEST hangover helper (you might feel like hell during the process, but when you’re in final breathing, aren’t you always in heaven?!) Sweating offers a brilliant way for you to mentally push RE-START, being drenched in your own efforts, it’s like a re-birth! When I practice I like to imagine the things I’m trying to “let go,” of being liquefied and released from my being, drop by drop. Our new studio now offers many classes throughout the week to fit a variety of schedules. Bikram Yoga consists of a series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises put together systematically by Bikram Choudhury to work the body from the inside out. Stop by our lovely new studio and see for yourself what Bikram Yoga has to offer. Check out our class schedule and pricing.

 

We pride ourselves on being able to deliver Bikram Yoga to the Toledo Community in a state of the art facility. Bikram Yoga Toledo is excited to announce that it now offers infrared heating inside the yoga room. With the addition of infrared we now employ three methods of heating our yoga room – Steam, convection, and now infrared heating technology. Speak with one of our teachers for more information on how infrared heating can help you.

New Students are not required to register online for classes. New students should plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes before class start times to fill out registration forms.
